Best Local Takeaway Spots

We know that you’ve come here partially for those stunning views and a gorgeous sleep in our warm beds, but it’s also about the food! If you want to enjoy local eateries but just don’t want to sit in to dine, we totally get that! So much so, that we’ve put together this list of great takeaway spots where you can still enjoy quality food and then bring it back to your own glamping tent to chow down. From sunrise to sunset, you deserve to have food that you love without any hassle. All of these tested spots offer delectable take out that is just right around your campfire.

● Delamere Station Cafe

This is one of our favourite spots. It’s a hidden gem and it’s about 10 minutes away in the station building. You can take the train from Mouldsworth to Delamere Station if you want and enjoy some gorgeous, savoury cakes and sweets that are homemade! Claire and her team -- yes, she knows us well -- are going to be dedicated to helping you enjoy some great takeaway treats. There are plenty of vegan options, too. Open from 9-5 during the weekdays and open till 8 on the weekends, this is a true spot to enjoy! Feeling guilty at the 4 cookies you just ate? Go for a walk in the forest! Then come back to refuel!

Delamere Station House

● Delamere Fortune Palace Chinese Restaurant: If Chinese food is your speed (we agree) then you’re going to love this! It’s a large restaurant if you do decide to dine in, but they offer a great takeaway service, too. It’s all delicious favourites that you’ll recognise and you’ll find that it’s a short 7-minute drive, making it just right for that last minute decision when it comes to enjoying a delicious meal!

Even if you enjoy one of these spots, and you decide to only take in one of these venues for whatever, we absolutely love all these takeaway spots. You get access to delicious food and don’t have to go and sit in a restaurant unless you choose to do so! Bring back or have a great meal delivered and enjoy it sat around your campfire enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Whatever you decide is the best way to enjoy a gorgeous meal while you are enjoying your stay with us on your glamping adventure.
