CORONAVIRUS BOOKING GUARANTEE
A low initial deposit of 20% on booking.
The balance payment will not be due until 10 days before the holiday.
In the case of a cancellation for any reason, you the Customer will have the flexibility to move your holiday to any available date within 18 months of the start date of the holiday (the 'rebooking window') with no additional charges.
If you choose a date where the same accommodation is only available at a higher price, you will need to pay the additional prevailing rate for the stay.
We will only cancel the booking in the event of Coronavirus restriction measures or other Force Majeure events.
The terms will apply to all bookings taken in the foreseeable future when booked directly from our website, booking with a third party may not have the additional booking guarantee in place.
In the event of cancellations, either by us as a result of Coronavirus restrictions, or by you the customer, we will commit to taking all reasonable endeavours to promptly agree alternative holiday dates with you the customer within the rebooking window and confirm the new booking dates by amending the dates on the booking system.
The government has started to ease the lockdown in England and we are preparing to open on the 4th July
Government guidance acknowledges that there is a much lower risk of transmission of the virus outdoors and have opened parks and forests nationwide because of the minimal risk of spreading the virus.
In the words of the Environment Secretary Rt Hon George Eustice MP, “We know that spending time outdoors in green spaces and the countryside is important for our physical and mental wellbeing, especially during this challenging period.”
We have been conducting a Covid-19 risk assessment to identify what operational changes we should make to minimise risk. The good news is that we are very confident that we can operate safely, whilst observing all the Covid-19 government safety guidance.
This will include reducing the number of guests staying on site, tents spaced a minimum 10 meters apart. As well as increased cleaning measures for the tents, showers & WC’s. We will also be allowing a period of 72 hours between guest stays. We will be increasing the number of sinks for washing and adding alcohol gel & disinfectant at the new sanitation station being built by the shower block. We will be sending out welcome packs full of ideas of things to do in the area to our guests in advance of their stay, rather than having a booklet in the rooms, other decorative items such as binoculars and nature books will be left out of the tents.
Shower times can be pre booked, to avoid potential crowding. Onsite polices regarding social distancing rules must be adhered.
