The government has issued a road map out of lock down which we will follow and adhere to. We have reopened on April 12th 2021 and are committed to continually risk assessing our business.
Government guidance acknowledges that there is a much lower risk of transmission of the virus outdoors and have opened parks and forests nationwide because of the minimal risk of spreading the virus.
In the words of the Environment Secretary Rt Hon George Eustice MP, “We know that spending time outdoors in green spaces and the countryside is important for our physical and mental wellbeing, especially during this challenging period.”
We have been working with additional Covid measures since July 2020 and are proud of the recognition we have had from our guests, with many acknowledging the lengths that we are going to, in order to protect you our guest.
This will include reducing the number of guests staying on site, tents spaced a minimum 10 meters apart. As well as increased cleaning measures for the tents, showers & WC’s. We will be increasing the number of sinks for washing and adding alcohol gel & disinfectant at the new sanitation station being built by the shower block. We will be sending out an online Ap based welcome packs full of ideas of things to do in the area to our guests in advance of their stay, rather than having a booklet in the rooms, other decorative items such as binoculars and nature books will be left out of the tents.
Shower times can be pre booked, to avoid potential crowding. Onsite polices regarding social distancing rules must be adhered.
