We are blessed to be so close to the marvelous Delamere Forest the largest forest in the north‑west. Delamere means 'Forest of the Lakes' and within the woodland there are plenty of lakes to wander around. If you are driving there are plenty of options for parking lots of lay‑bys and a few free car parks are also available. Alternatively parking at the visitors centre will put you next to the café and visitor information centre , an easy place to navigate back to after a walk
